This project focused on developing a comprehensive training needs analysis (TNA) for a two-week online certification course designed for adult learners. The goal was to identify learner needs, define performance gaps, and align learning objectives with appropriate instructional strategies for a graduate-level and early-career educator audience. Throughout the process, I applied instructional design best practices to translate complex, theory-driven content into a clear, approachable format.
Using thoughtful layout, visual hierarchy, and iconography, I emphasized clarity and usability—demonstrating how design choices can support comprehension and decision-making. This project reflects my interest in solving real-world instructional challenges by combining analysis, visual design, and learner-centered thinking. It also showcases how I approach future instructional design projects: grounding decisions in audience needs while creating practical, visually engaging learning solutions.
